31 OCT 2010: WASHINGTON MARINE CORPS MARATHON
The Marine Corps Marathon is an often forgotten gem on the marathon circuit, which is partly because they don't go to any lengths to find elite marathoners - more the opposite, this a marathon that is known for its high percentage of first timers.
The marathon takes in all the great sites of the capital city, including the White House, Pentagon and Capitol Building.

Fri 29 Oct: Depart from London on the Virgin Atlantic flight VS21 departing at 1130 and arriving at 1610. 3 nights at the Renaissance. On room only basis.
Sat 30 Oct: Race registration and free time to explore Washington.
Sun 31 Oct: Race Day.
Mon 1 Nov: Make your way to the airport for the Virgin Atlantic flight VS22 departing at 1955 and arriving in Heathrow at 0705 next day.
Tue 2 Nov: Make your way to the airport for the Virgin Atlantic flight VS22 departing at 1955 and arriving in Heathrow at 0705 next day.
