Salomon introduced a new concept to Sheffield in 2009 consisting of Tough Trail Runs taking you beyond your comfort zone - 10-or-so miles of sand, mud, hills and bogs suitable only for 4x4's and humans in trail shoes.
And what a roaring success it was with the feedback from the Runner's World forums indicated it lived up to the billing.
Midrace you we will be offering you a unique challenge - how quickly can you run through the toughest, wettest, muddiest 1 mile section of the race - a challenge-within-a-challenge.
You'll finish wet, muddy and tired and wanting more.
The venue is in a forest along side a steep sided valley with some dense woodland and rocky outcrops so expect a fair bit of climbing to be the feature of this Turbo X.

Once your race entry is accepted either online, by post or over the telephone we are unable to make refunds. You may roll your entry over to another 2:09 Events race subject to space availability and paying any difference in entry fee. Roll over places must be requested in writing or by email at least 48hrs before the event - changes after this will count as no-show and we will be unable to change your entry.
