Well done to our Longleat runners on Sunday - 800 finished and it was a glorious day at Longleat with the snow the day beofre all gone by the morning - as the local weather forecast predicted! ALGARVE TRAINING Our next opportunity to train in the sun is on our highly successful Algarve Spring Camps in March - a beautiful thought with the country currently in a freeze. Coaching is from some of the best coaches in the UK including Mike Gratton (London Marathon winner), Paul Evans (twice Olympic 10,000m finalist and Chicago Marathon winner), Bruce Tulloh (European 5,000m Champion and prolific writer) and Nick Anderson & Phoebe Thomas of Runningwithus, who currently coach UK Inernationals, charity runners and celebrity runners, with a backing cast of physio's, personal trainers and a massuer. Join us and over 100 other runners, covering all standards from good club runners to beginners, for a week, 10 days or two weeks of great running, first class support and great social FUN on the 28th anniversary of the original and best training camp. SPRING MARATHONS All of the events on the website currently have places available if you take the tour package even though a lot of them are sold out for direct entry - if you haven't planned your Spring Marathon yet then you might consider running Jerusalem, Rome, Paris, Boston, Stockholm or maybe something smaller like Milan or Marsailles. ING NEW YORK CITY MARATHON November 4th may seem a long way off but the demand for the New York Marathon is so high that this is an event that you do need to enter well in advance to guarantee your place.
